Sheryl and John Murray never expected to end up here. Sheryl spent her career in the Houston Medical Center as a hospital administrator at Park Plaza Hospital; John is a third-generation Texan who worked as an oil & gas executive for more than 40 years. Both were raised to believe cannabis was “the devil’s lettuce” — a gateway drug, full stop.

That changed in 2019, when they moved to New Mexico and earned their medical license through the state. What began as cautious curiosity turned into hands-on experimentation — and, before long, a genuine obsession with the benefits of hemp.

Cultivation and testing eventually led back home to Texas, where Blissables was born. In 2023 the Murrays invested in their first serious manufacturing equipment — CO₂ extraction, gummy lines, and the production and fulfillment machinery needed to make products they could stand behind.

In 2024 they partnered with United Bioscience in Osceola, Wisconsin, bringing world-class research, development, and formulation expertise to every recipe — the difference between a good idea and a product families could trust.

In 2025 Blissables opened its Houston facility — a 5,000-square-foot warehouse in Spring Branch and a headquarters office inside the inner loop at Greenway Plaza. In 2026 the team grew to include logistics and legal professionals, a medical device sales consultant, a creative director with e-commerce expertise, and an in-house graphic designer.

This August, Blissables launches its initial five-product line — with three new SKUs to follow close behind. Same mission, same values, and the same commitment to the finest hemp on the market.
